File with a .MRIMG extension contains a system disc image for Microsoft Windows, stored in a single file. Files are created in order to obtain a backup copy of discs in case of malfunction or in order to create duplicates.

MRIG files are created in the Macrium Reflect software. On their basis, a system recovery process can be performed, due to the fact that they contain all folders and files of the source disc.
