SLA is an extension characteristic of files used by a software called Scribus. From a technical point of view, SLAs are plain text files containing program code written in XML markup language. This is the default format Scribus saves its documents in. The most common use of SLA documents is printing.
SLA files are files containing data defining the content of the document itself, graphic elements inserted into it and all information regarding its formatting.
