Files with TRG extension are associated with LiveUpdate service developed by Symantec. TRG files are used during software update process for Norton Antivirus and other Symantec products.

TRG is a proprietary binary format. The format is compatible only with Windows operating systems. TRG files automate some update routines; cannot be converted to other formats.
