WBCAT is a file format used by Windows WBCATBackup and Restore Center tool that is a part of Microsoft Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating systems. WBCAT file contains complete backup copy created by the user.
WBCAT files structure is composed of multiple ZIP files. WBCAT files allows users to restore system to previous state (that is, the system state of which the backup was made). The backup copy restores not only system settings as data, but also private documents.
