CF is a text file that stores setting for email application sendmail. CF file presence is necessary for the application to run correctly and is automatically compiler during application start.

CF files store application configs, included those related to POP and SMTP servers and send/receive methods. Config file is named sendmail.cf by default and saved in application’s main folder.
