CPL is a file extension used some Windows systems. Each CPL file contains a single control panel element. Windows Control Panel allows user to manage and monitor all system parameters and devices.
CPL files are saved in main Windows folder and should not be opened manually or deleted. Removing CPL files can cause to system to not run properly and may preclude access to some device configuration. Each CPL file is automatically loaded upon opening of Windows Control Panel.
