DLX files store captured video and audio data. DLX files are used by various Sony digital camcorders and cameras. Only Sony devices can use DLX files.

DLX files can be opened and edited using Premiere Pro software developed by Adobe. All versions of Premiere Pro are capable of opening DLX files, and offer option to export DLX data to the popular AVI format.
