EDR files are associated with Embird Embroidery, an embroidery software. EDR files store color palette settings, which can be modified within Embird Embroidery.

EDR format is native to Embird and cannot be converted to other similar formats, for example JEF, which is used by Janome software application. Embird offers an unique feature of creating embroidery patterns from photos, which also automatically generates EDR color palette files.
