Files with the .EPK extension contain data packs of various types, such as three-dimensional objects, textures, sounds, scripts, and other level data and are utilized by the Metin2 video game. These files are saved along with their respective EIX files, which are other types of game data files, in the game pack catalog.

EPK files are, in fact, unique to the Metin2 video game, an online fantasy MMORPG placed in an oriental in-game world. It was developed in 2005 by the Korean company Ymir Entertainment.
