EWC2 is an audio file format used by video editing software Edius. EWC2 files are automatically generated for each video file imported to the application. EWC2 audio files are then saved in the same folder as the original file.

EDIUS software has been actively developed since its debut in 2003. In 2005, EDIUS was acquired by Grass Valley company. EDIUS is available for Microsoft Windows platforms. Edius 6.5 is compatible with Windows 10.
