GFS files are associated with Microsoft SharePoint Workspace software for Windows. GFS is a system file and as such should not be manually deleted or renamed.

If a GFS is deleted by accident or otherwise, its contents will become permanently damaged. GFS files are generated automatically by SharePoint or Groove and cannot be converted to other formats.
