File with a .PDN extension contains a bitmap image supporting many layers, effects, transparent pixels and different colour depth. These files are native for the Paint.net.

PDN files are supported only by paint.Net, however, they can be exported into more common formats. Paint.net application is a free program utilised for image editing in Windows system.
