PLD files are associated with PhotoLine software, developed for Mac and Windows PC by Impressum. PLD files store images created with PhotoLine. PLD format is not supported by other programs.

PhotoLine allows users to edited imaged using various advanced tools. Created image can be exported to other, more popular image format, such as JPG or PNG. Conversion to other formats results in some data losses, including layer information or applied special effects.
