File with a PRD extension contains a multimedia presentation – a list of slides with a background, subtitles, images and also the multimedia or transition effects. PRD files are stored by the Presentation software of the SoftMaker Office suite.

Data contained within PRD files is similar to the Microsoft PowerPoint PPT or PPTX files. There is also an option to export a PRD file into one of the above mentioned formats.
