PWD file is a text document created by software running on Pocket PC device. Pocket PC runs the Windows CE operating system, designed specifically to work on Pocket PC mobile devices. PWD files are created by Pocket Word text editor.

Windows CE and Pocket Word are mobile versions of Windows and Word desktop software, respectively. PWD files can be converted into DOC or DOCX formats.
