UNITYPACKAGE is a file package used by Unity game engine. UNITYPACKAGE file format uses compression for storing data. UNITYPACKAGE container holds all relevant resources and libraries used by given project.

UNITYPACKAGE solution is commonly used for exchanging data between various projects or created games. UNITYPACKAGE files are therefore only present during development phase and aren’t present in published version of game created with Unity.
