Files with the .XDW extension contain image data used by Fuji Xerox DocuCentre devices, and can come in the form of both text and graphics, as well as links with www addresses or document references. The XWD format is unique to the Fuji Xerox DocuCentre printer and xerox machine ecosystem. The text contained in XDW files can be processed using the DocuWorks OCR technology and searched just like in a file handling program.
