FreeCAD is a free general-purpose parametric 2D/3D modeling software application. The tool allows users to design real-size objects or edit existing 3D models or their elements. FreeCAD is shipped with tools for creating technical drawings, FEA, CFD, and BIM tools, or a robot simulation module, among others.
