BRIDGESORT file extension is used for files generated by Adobe Bridge, a digital data management software developed by Adobe Systems Incorporated. Bridge is distributed as a part of Adobe Creative Suite.

BRIDGESORT files are used by Adobe Bridge to store image file indexing data used for sorting. Files can be sorted by various metrics such as file name, date, or file extension. BRIDGESORT is a hidden file by default. Deleting BRIDGESORT file reverts sorting algorithm to the default setting and a new BRIDGESORT is generated automatically upon launch of Adobe Bridge.
