BRD is a document file created by EAGLE, a software application developed by Autodesk. BRD files store information on PCB design schematics. BRD files are an important element of CAM (computer aided manufacturing) processes.
EAGLE software was acquired from CadSoft by Autodesk in 2016. Educational license is free and can be obtained by registering on developer’s website. EAGLE is commonly used in universities for educational purposes.
