ENC is a Encore musical notation file format associated with Encore, an audio editing software developed by GVOX and available for Windows and Mac OS X platforms. ENC files contain musical notations along with information about instruments, time signatures, notes, key signatures, etc. ENC files can also store additional information such as the composer or title of given piece. ENC files are only supported by Encore, but can be exported to PDF with ease.

ENC is a generic file extension used by many applications. The format uses UUE encoding. ENC files created with given application can usually by opened only with said application.
