File with a .TMB extension contains information on a remote connection – name of the computer, IP address and settings, including those regarding security. It is a connection shortcut file which can be initiated or edited.

TMB files are used by the Timbuktu software, which enables remote control of many computer systems with Mac OS C or Windows systems. Since the year 2013, the project is no longer supported or developed.
