Files with the TXD extension are associated with applications that use the RenderWare graphics engine. TXD files are used to store small textures in the form of bitmap graphics. The archive created in this way can be used by applications running on the RenderWare engine and covering the objects used by it with textures. This format is used in Grand Theft Auto or Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.

RenderWare was developed by Criterion Software and TXD files can be edited with a tool called Magic.TXD .
