ACM is an extension specific to files that store audio data. ACM is a compressed audio format. It can be generated based on different sampling rates. The most common parameters of such files are: 22 kHz, with 16-bit resolution and two stereo channels.

The ACM format was developed by Interpaly and was used in games based on the Infinity Engine, e.g. in the Baldur's Gate series.
