DAA is a file format that is used to store CD and DVD images. It is compressed data that can exist as one or more volumes. This format can also be used to archive, for example, multimedia materials. DAA disk images can be mounted in systems as virtual disks using appropriate programs (eg Alcohol 120% or DAEMON Tools).

DAA is a proprietary format used by the PowerISO program. Such files can be encrypted and password protected like other compression formats.
