DAZIP files are used by an RPG game called Dragon Age: Origins. DAZIP is a compressed archive using the ZIP format. The data packed in it contain the internal data of the game. Often, these are resources that, when installed in a game, can expand its functionality. These can be new events, characters, sounds or tasks to be performed.

DAZIP files can be handled by any ZIP archive manager, however, DAUpdater.exe is used to install files in the game.
