DB1 is a binary file format used by CAD-like software Tekla Structures. DB1 file contains informations regarding a 3D model. The file stores data in structured form that allows users to view the bulding structure, analyze building materials used, view the cross-sections and floor plans.

DB1 files and Tekla software are used by architectural design companies around the world. The software was used to create Troja Bridge in Prague, Capital Gate in Abu Dhabi, and San Jose Earthquakes Stadium in the USA.
