DC5 is a file that contains drawing project created with CAD software called DataCAD. DC5 files were used by DataCAD until DataCAD 11 released in 2003, which replaced the DC5 with ACE format.

DC5 imported to newer versions of DataCAD are automatically converted to appropriate format. DC5 files can contain 2D and 3D data, which makes it a perfect format for planning and architectural designs. DataCAD debuted in 1984 and is still actively developed.
