Files with DNT extension store documents created with RSNetWorkx, a configuration management software aimed at large businesses. DNT is the default file format used by RSNetWorkx.

Data in DNT files are used for configuring networks. Rockwell Automation implemented support for DeviceNet, ControlNet International, and Ethernet IP protocols in its product. All network components are displayed and edited using block diagrams.
