ENT is a developer file used by SGML and XML files. ENT can be viewed, edited, corrected and saved using any standard text editor available for desktop or mobile platforms. User can also use dedicated XML file editors.

ENT files contain declarations for set of DTD tags. ENT files store attributes for entities, that is instances of groups of real or imaginary objects objects commonly used in databases.
