FPBF file is a Mac OS (version 10.04 or later) folder that contains files or aliases of said files to be burned to optical data storage. Usually stored to the desktop. This file format isn’t used as frequently because modern Mac computers are not equipped with CD or DVD drive. Creating FPBF files is possible through an option available in the context menu or through Finder app menu.

Once the FPBF folder has been created, one can drag or copy selected files to it. Then, by selecting ‘Burn/write’ option located in the top-right part of the window one can burn selected files to the inserted disc. Folder size information is located at the bottom bar of the open folder. An option in system setting enables user to burn files located in this folder automatically once empty disc has been placed in the drive.
