IIF is an extension given to files used by financial management applications and spreadsheets. An IIF file is saved in a way that allows easy data exchange by various applications.

The structure of the IIF file is similar to the TSV format. Data is placed on individual lines and tabs are used to separate columns. To use data from IIF files, you must import them into a spreadsheet or other program, such as QuickBooks.
