KMP data files are used by Trinity and Triton workstations developed by Japanese manufacturer Korg in 1995 and 1999 respectively. KMP document doesn’t hold any audio data, only references to actual KSF audio sample files.

Korg workstations combine functionality of sampler, synthesizer, and sequencer. KMP files can be manipulated using the built-in LCD touch display. KMP files are small in size – the file weight seldom exceeds more than few megabytes.
