P7B is a security certificate file for authenticating web services. P7B files don’t hold a private key, only basic certificate in ASCII Base64 format. P7B files can be converted into PEM or PFX files.

P7B documents are used to identify and authenticate users and devices. Windows systems use dedicated tool for certificate management called Certificate Import Wizard, and Mac systems use tool called Keychain Access.
