PF3 is a file extension associated with programming environment included in SmartWare software platform. The current version of the software (4.5) was released in 2004. The platform is based on Faircom’s database engine.

PF3 files store source code created with SmartWare. The files allows compatibility with other office applications included in SmartWare package: a spreadsheet, word processor, etc. SmartWare is available for purchase on developers website. The developer also offers a demo version of SmartWare. The project hasn’t been updated 2006.
