File format with .PFD extension contains flow diagram and its elements including flow types and flow directions data, and other business process information. This format is supported by no longer supported and developed Micrografx Optima! software.

PFD files can be opened with Micrografx Optima! successor – iGrafx Process software. Micrografx changed its name to iGrafx and became part of Corel Corporation. Later it gained autonomy and now focuses on creating business process management software solutions.
