PMX filename extension is associated with jest email client Pegasus Mail. PMX files store email messages ready to be sent to a recipient.

Email messages stored in PMX files are not meant to be edited. User can only open them for viewing or delete via Pegasus menu. Pegasus marks messages saved in PMX files as "ready to be sent". PMX files cannot be converted into other email message formats.
