SCE files store recipes and are associated with SoftCusine application available for Microsoft Windows. SCE files are native to SoftCusine and contents of such files cannot be exported to other format supported by similar applications.

SoftCusine is considered a legacy software. Its current version was released in 2002 for  Windows XP. SCE files are seldom encountered as many cooking program and applications are now cloud- or mobile-based.
