SCH is a CAD file format used by many different applications. SCH files store graphics data describing electrical circuits and connections among circuit elements in a simplified and standardized form.

SCH files are commonly saved in a proprietary format limited to given application. A specific SCH file can be opened with associated program and (if possible) exported to a similar format for further editing or, for example, a PDF file.
