TPS files are almost identical to popular P2P torrent files, but they contain malicious code compressed using RAR or ZIP. TPS typically redirect users to websites full of adware or spyware.

If TPS files (referred to as "Scam Torrents") are found in given system, it is strongly advised to run full antivirus scan and move any infected files to quarantine or delete them.
