File with a .USR filename extension contains user’s databases in a proprietary format, designed by the FileMaker software, aimed at creating, managing and sharing databases. It may contain data, images, scripts, arrangements; it is a complex file. In the Mac OS it can also have a .UFSR filename extension.

USR files are usually utilised to import standard data, create custom reports and share databases and their analysis results. They may contain data imported from text files, Excel documents, Bento bases, or can be exported to other file formats, using FileMaker Pro software.
