ACRODATA files store settings for Adobe Acrobat PDF reader and editor. ACRODATA files store various program settings and configs. ACRODATA is a system files and as such should not be edited outside of its native software.

Adobe decided not to publish API specification that describes ACRODATA file structure and thus its a proprietary format. ACRODATA files can be opened with any text editor, but cannot be edited or modified without proper permission.
