APNX is a file format used by Amazon, the owner of Kindle brand. APNX file are used by Kindle e-readers (version 3.1 and later) for storing pagination data.
APNX files are commonly distributed along with AZW file, which contain ebooks downloaded from Amazon web store. Pagination data cannot be modified by users as it is an integral part of an ebook.
