The .CED file extension refers to the video files captured by JVC's Digital cameras when the memory card is not positioned properly. As a result, this is a proprietary video data file which is in essence captured as a raw video corrupt file.

The .CED files cannot be opened by native Windows or Mac video players. Hence post processing and editing, these files can be saved to one of the more video formats to be used later with the popular media players.
