DRV file format is used for storing hardware device drivers, a package that contains commands and parameters describing how the device and Microsoff Windows operating system should communicate. Installed driver images are saved in DRV system directory.
DRV files can be used to install drivers for internal and external devices. User should only install files from trusted source in order to avoid virus or worm infecting the system.
