HWT is a theme file format used by Huawei Ascend P6 smartphones. Ascend P6 debuted in 2013 and was marketed as one of the thinnest smartphone available. HWT files allow users to change visual theme of phone’s launcher screen.

HWT can be downloaded from various websites dedicated to smartphones. Files with HWT extension are also compatible with Ascend P7. In order to use HWT files, they must be saved in HWThemes folder on the SD card.
