LVF file format was developed by Logitech. LVF files store graphical elements and video effects plugins. LVF files are used by Logitech Webcam software bundled wiht video chat devices from the same manufacturer.

LVF files can also hold information used for facial recognition. Users can apply various graphical accessories (mustache, ears, googles, etc.) to their facial features while chatting. LVA files can be used to replace user’s face on display.
