Files with the .MODD extension contain information about the video material in the form of metadata, such as date, time, and other relevant parameters. It is characteristic for Sony digital cameras.

MODD information files are saved together with high-resolution M2TS or standard MPG recordings. The data contained therein can be used by the Sony Picture Motion Browser video viewer to analyze video files with the help of the Video Analysis function.
