MSWMM is a movie project file created by Windows Movie Maker software application. MSWMM document files contain videos, photos, audio tracks, text, and special effects added by the user.

Various MSWMM compositions can be merged together and exported into many popular video formats such as AVI, MPG, MOV, or MP4. Movie Maker was developed by Microsoft and was included in Windows Vista and Windows 7 installations; other Windows versions require manual installation of the said software.
