WP3 is a project file that stores data in binary format, used by video editing software Microsoft Photo Story. WP3 files were popular among Windows XP users. Photo Story version 3 was released in 2005.

WP3 files usually held slideshows ceated by users from images and photos. WP3 projects supported audio data and transition effects, and could be exported into WMV format.
